Thames Estuary 2050 Growth Commission - call for ideas

The new Commission, chaired by Lord Michael Heseltine, was formally launched at the Aquatic Centre at Queen Elizabeth II Park, Stratford on 14 July.  Click here to see the Government's news release.

The event included publication of a call for ideas, focusing on six work streams:

  1. Creating high productivity clusters
  2. Increasing connectivity
  3. Creating new homes and communities
  4. Securing investment
  5. Harnessing innovation in the built environment
  6. Putting it together: centres of excellence

The Commission has set a deadline of 9 September for responses.  For more information, download the call for ideas document.
